We traditionally produce barefoot shoes from waxed leather. The nappa or suede leather is coated with a layer of fat to create a barrier against penetrating water. We also have barefoot shoes made from unwaxed leather types and vegan materials, which become completely waterproof thanks to our special ZAQQ inner membrane.
To protect your shoes from rain and moisture in the long term, you should not neglect maintenance. This way, your ZAQQs will not only remain waterproof but also supple and will accompany you for many years. We have provided useful tips for care and cleaning here for you.
